The History of Rome (M. Duncan)

These episodes were created by Mike Duncan of The History of Rome podcast. He more or less started at the beginning in 753 BC and didn’t stop until he got to 476 AD – so they are “in order” and very linear (ie each episode picks where the last one left off).

The History of Rome (A. Martin)

These episodes were created by A. Martin of (a different) The History of Rome podcast. He picks interesting aspects of Roman history and then does mini-series or standalone episodes like the ones below. He more or less goes in order, but skips majors things that he doesn’t find as interesting.

The Ancients

These episodes were created by Tristan Hughes from The Ancients podcast. Sometime he does mini-series and other times he does single episodes on topics. I tried to put these in chronological order, but they may not always “flow” from episode to episode.

The Emperors of Rome

These episodes were created by Matt Smith and various Aussie classics professors. As the title of the podcast suggests, they primarily discuss the Empire (27 BC – 476 AD), but they’ve done the occasional episode or miniseries about earlier topics.
